Amii Castle is a Professor of Practice at the University of Kansas School of Law, School of Business, and a Lecturer in the Political Science Department. She teaches Electronic Discovery, Pretrial Advocacy, Business Law, Constitutional Law, and related courses. Her legal career includes clerkships for federal judges (Judge Pasco M. Bowman, Eighth Circuit; District Judge Carlos Murguia; Chief Magistrate Judge James P. O’Hara) and private practice in commercial and class-action litigation. She received the 2017 HOPE Award for progressive education and the 2022 Woman of Impact recognition.
Education: J.D. and B.S. from University of Kansas (1997 and 1994 respectively). Research focuses on federal civil procedure amendments, electronic discovery, and litigation strategies.
