Ameneh Khatami is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney and a pediatric infectious diseases specialist at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Her research focuses on optimizing antimicrobial therapies, phage therapy development, and managing pediatric infections such as cystic fibrosis and tuberculosis. She leads the STAMP trial for standardized phage therapy protocols and holds an NHMRC Investigator Grant (2023-2027).

Research Interests: Her work spans phage therapy clinical trials, antimicrobial resistance solutions, and global health challenges like meningococcal disease and parechovirus outbreaks. She collaborates widely in Australia and internationally, focusing on translational pediatric infectious disease research.
Grants & Awards: NHMRC Investigator Grant (EL1, 2023-2027), FMH Bright Ideas Grant (2023), and grants for phage therapy and enteric fever research.
