Amelia Gibson

Amelia Gibson is an Associate Professor and Co-Director of the Master of Library and Information Science program at the University of Maryland's College of Information Studies. She holds affiliations with the Center for Information Technology and Public Life and NYU’s Center for Critical Race and Digital Studies. Her research focuses on information marginalization, trust, and safety in health and learning institutions, particularly maternal health equity and disability justice. She leads the Postnatal Patient Safety Learning Lab and is stepping into the Associate Director role at the Information Policy and Access Center (iPAC).
