Ambre Salis

Ambre Salis is a Research Fellow at the Department of Life Sciences (Silwood Park) within the Faculty of Natural Sciences at Imperial College London. Her work focuses on decoding the communication systems of house sparrows through an animal linguistics framework, investigating how meaningful information is encoded in their vocalizations.

She is supported by a UKRI-funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship. Her research bridges interdisciplinary methodologies from linguistics and behavioral ecology to analyze acoustic signals and their ecological significance in non-human communication networks.
