Ambra Pozzi is a Professor in the Departments of Medicine, Cancer Biology, and Molecular Physiology and Biophysics at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. Her research focuses on elucidating the role of arachidonic acid-derived lipids in angiogenesis and tumorigenesis, bridging cancer biology, molecular mechanisms, and translational medicine. She holds a PhD and maintains a laboratory investigating lipid signaling pathways in disease contexts.
Research Interests: Dr. Pozzi’s work centers on how bioactive lipids regulate tumor progression and blood vessel formation. Her studies integrate biochemical, cellular, and genetic approaches to uncover novel therapeutic targets in cancer and inflammatory diseases. Key areas include eicosanoid metabolism, signal transduction, and the interplay between cancer cells and their microenvironment.
