Amber E. Boydstun

Amber E. Boydstun is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Political Science at the University of California, Davis, and an Affiliated Faculty member in the Department of Communication. She is a Chancellor's Fellow and served as a Marie Curie Fellow at the University of Antwerp. Her research focuses on media-politics interactions, media framing, and public opinion dynamics, employing methods like experiments, text analysis, and large-scale media studies. She examines issues such as immigration, gun control, and capital punishment, contributing to initiatives like the Comparative Agendas Project and editorial roles at journals including Public Opinion Quarterly.

Education: B.A. from St. John's College, Ph.D. from Penn State University.
