Amber Alliger

Dr. Amber Alliger serves as a Doctoral Lecturer in the Psychology Department at Hunter College, part of the City University of New York (CUNY) system. She holds a PhD in Biopsychology and Behavioral Neuroscience from the Graduate Center of CUNY (2009). Her research focuses on environmental influences on neurophysiological processes, particularly testing how enriched environments impact cognitive performance in laboratory rats. She advocates for improved animal welfare standards to enhance the validity of pharmaceutical research models.
