Ambarish Karmalkar

Ambarish Karmalkar is a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, affiliated with the Department of Geosciences and the Northeast Climate Adaptation Science Center (NE CASC). His work focuses on regional and global climate modeling, uncertainty quantification in climate projections, and climate impacts assessment in the northeastern United States, the Caribbean, and Central America.

He has advised or collaborated on projects involving climate data use in ecological and hydrological impact studies and has led efforts to produce state-wide climate projections for Massachusetts.
