Amaury Lambert

Amaury Lambert is a renowned academic holding the title of Professor (Cl. Ex.) at the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) and a central figure in the SMILE Group (Stochastic Models for the Inference of Life Evolution) at the Collège de France and the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Biology (CIRB). He also serves as the Dean of Education for the Biology Department at ENS and co-founded the Master of Sustainability Science within the PSL University system. His academic roles include co-heading the SMILE group, founding the CIRB Green Community, and editorial roles in journals like Theoretical Population Biology.

His research spans ecology, genetics, evolution, and probability theory, focusing on phylogenetics, stochastic processes, and mathematical modeling of biological systems.
