Roles & Affiliations: Professor at the Biology Department of École Normale Supérieure (ENS), leading the SMILE (Stochastic Models for the Inference of Life Evolution) research group.

Research Interests: Focuses on evolutionary processes across scales, conservation genomics, pathogen evolution (e.g., SARS-CoV-2, HIV), species diversification mechanisms, and the interplay between development and somatic evolution. Combines top-down phylogenetic models with bottom-up population genetics approaches.
