Her research investigates why individuals/groups engage in disruptive climate protests, focusing on radicalization pathways and institutional trust. Using interdisciplinary methods, she examines how perceptions of injustice drive nonviolent yet law-breaking tactics. Key themes include left-right protest strategy differences and the role of historical memory in activism.
Recent presentations include talks at the European Association for Psychology and Law (2024), SPSP Annual Convention (2024), and multiple interdisciplinary conferences addressing climate protest dynamics. She co-organized the 'Facing Radicalization and Extremism in Times of Societal Unrest' workshop (2022).
Recipient of the 2023 Fulbright grant, she prioritizes open science practices including pre-registration and open-access publishing. Her work bridges academic research with public engagement through podcasts and media commentary on climate activism issues.
