Amarendra Edpuganti is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sustainable Energy Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur since December 2022. Prior to this, he worked as a Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow at the Advanced Power and Energy Center (APEC) and MI-MIT Collaboration Research at Khalifa University, UAE, focusing on power systems and sustainable energy technologies.

- Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National University of Singapore (2016)
- M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur (2012)
- B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering from NIT Warangal (2007)
His research interests include power systems, renewable energy integration, energy storage solutions, and smart grid technologies, with a focus on advancing sustainable energy systems through innovative engineering approaches.
