Amandine Gautier is a researcher in sociology and political science at VetAgro Sup, affiliated with Triangle UMR 5206. She holds a doctorate and has conducted postdoctoral research on antimicrobial decision-systems and biodiversity/health interfaces. Her work bridges public policy, occupational health, and environmental governance. She teaches comparative social policies at SciencesPo Lyon and supervises master’s theses.
Research Interests: Her studies focus on One Health frameworks, occupational health dynamics in slaughterhouse environments, and policy interfaces between biodiversity and public health. Recent work explores ethics in public health governance and crisis management in environmental conservation.
Publications: Her 2023 article on cattle drivers and health regulations examines compliance challenges, while her 2022 book Emerging from crises: One Health in practice analyzes post-crisis policy adaptations. She also contributes to sociological studies of environmental conflicts and health ethics.
Teaching & Supervision: Teaches comparative social policies and methodological courses in social sciences. Supervises M2 theses on food policy and animal welfare at SciencesPo Lyon and National Veterinary School.
