Amandeep Kaur

Amandeep Kaur is a Research Fellow at the Sustainable Environment Research Centre within the Faculty of Computing, Engineering and Science. Her work focuses on bioelectrochemical systems, environmental biotechnology, and waste treatment technologies. She has contributed to advancements in CO2 reduction, formate production, and copper recovery from industrial effluents. Research interests include renewable energy applications, water quality monitoring, and bioprocess engineering. Her recent studies address challenges in scaling electrochemical systems and optimizing microbial sensors. Notable contributions include a patent for a water quality monitoring device and peer-reviewed articles on electrodialysis integration and electrofermentation processes. Collaborations span universities and industry partners, emphasizing applied environmental solutions.
