Amanda P. Beck

Amanda P. Beck, D.V.M., is an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pathology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She serves as Scientific Director of the Histology and Comparative Pathology Facility, focusing on pathologic characterization of animal models of human disease and mouse phenotyping. Her work bridges veterinary and human medicine through comparative pathology studies.

Dr. Beck's research emphasizes tumor models in animals, including studies of cancer progression in rodents, primates, and exotic species. She has contributed to investigations of pancreatic cancer treatment using bacterial delivery systems, intestinal stem cell tumor mechanisms, and drug efficacy in transgenic mouse models.
