Amanda Mohler

Dr. Amanda Mohler serves as Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy and Faculty Senate President at Arkansas State University's College of Nursing & Health Professions. She holds professional credentials including OTD, OTR/L, and AFWCC certification.

Her educational background features a Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from Washington University School of Medicine (2013) with a capstone on low vision interventions for older adults, and a Bachelor of Social Work from Illinois State University (2010) where she graduated Magna Cum Laude while earning membership in Golden Key International Honor Society and Phi Alpha Social Work Honor Society.

Research focuses on geriatric occupational therapy with specialization in low vision rehabilitation, clinical education methodologies, and doctoral capstone development. Her work addresses critical factors impacting intervention readiness in aging populations.
