Dr. Amanda Mather is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Medicine at the Northern Clinical School, University of Sydney. Her research focuses on diabetes, nephrology, obesity, cardiovascular disease, and healthy ageing, employing cellular/molecular approaches. She specializes in clinical nephrology and has contributed to understanding renal pathophysiology and diabetes complications. Her work includes studies on SGLT2 inhibitors, diabetic kidney disease, and the role of glucose transporters in hyperglycemia management.
