Dr. Amanda L. Rotondo is an Assistant Professor and Director of Clinical Education at the College of Staten Island, City University of New York (CUNY). She is a licensed Physical Therapist in New York and New Jersey with extensive clinical experience in inpatient, outpatient, and Early Intervention settings, working with both adults and children affected by orthopedic and neurological conditions.
Her primary research focus is on clinical trials of therapeutic exercise within pediatric populations, with a specific emphasis on weight-bearing interventions for children and adolescents with Cerebral Palsy. She also has a secondary scholarly interest in clinical education methodologies. Dr. Rotondo is a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner and a Credentialed Clinical Instructor, demonstrating her commitment to both clinical excellence and teaching.
She is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the New York Physical Therapy Association (NYPTA), and the NY NJ Physical Therapy Clinical Education Consortium.
