Dr. Jason E. Cook is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, MA, and a practicing pediatric physical therapist at Blank Children’s Hospital, Des Moines, IA. He holds a PhD from Nova Southeastern University (2019) and DPT/MS degrees from Des Moines University (2007/2003). His research focuses on evaluating pain/distress in cerebral palsy patients, integrating empathy into clinical care, and phenomenological research methods. He teaches courses in neurological/pediatric physical therapy, motor control, and healthcare pedagogy.
