Amanda Diserholt

Dr. Amanda Diserholt serves as a Lecturer in Psychology at Canterbury Christ Church University, affiliated with the Department of Psychology within the School of Sciences, Psychology, Arts and Humanities, Computing, Engineering and Sports. She joined the institution in October 2021 following the completion of her doctoral studies.

Her academic background includes a PhD in Psychology from Edinburgh Napier University, awarded shortly before her appointment at CCCU. Her doctoral research investigated Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME)/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), analyzing individual and sociocultural dimensions of its manifestation and progression.
