Amanda Christensen

Amanda Christensen is an Extension Professor and Accredited Financial Counselor at Utah State University, where she serves as County Director for Morgan County. Her work focuses on financial education, behavioral economics, and social media outreach.

• BS (2008) in Family Finance/Family, Consumer and Human Development, Utah State University

Her research emphasizes couples' financial practices, women's financial empowerment, and virtual Extension education. She has pioneered the use of social media and Money Habitudes tools to improve financial literacy.

Christensen has received over 20 awards, including multiple Best of State recognitions, Epsilon Sigma Phi honors, and national Extension Association awards. She co-authored the PowerPay Money Master Online Course and leads the Morgan County 4-H program.
