Amanda Cheeseman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Natural Resource Management at South Dakota State University. Her research focuses on wildlife-habitat relationships in impacted ecosystems, employing interdisciplinary approaches to address conservation challenges. She holds a Ph.D. from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, an M.S. from Fort Hays State University, and a B.S. from Michigan State University.

Research interests span wildlife management, population ecology, spatial ecology, and mammalogy.
