Amanda Borosh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Special and Early Education at Northern Illinois University (NIU), with a Ph.D. Candidate status in Educational Studies in Special Education from Purdue University. She holds certifications including BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) and advanced degrees in Early Childhood Special Education.
Her research focuses on applying implementation science and organizational behavior management to improve evidence-based behavioral practices in schools. Key areas include training special educators, developing sustainable interventions for challenging behaviors, and designing participatory action research approaches involving stakeholders. She emphasizes pyramidal training models and non-hierarchical coaching for school-based professionals.
