Amal Eldiaby

Amal Eldiaby is a Lecturer in Arabic at Queen's University's Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures, Faculty of Arts and Science, with expertise in medieval Arabic literature and language pedagogy. She holds a BA (With Distinction) from Queen's University and a BA from Ein Shams University.

Her research focuses on Classical and medieval Arabic literature, religious interpretation, and history, particularly in Muslim Spain. With over 10 years of experience teaching Arabic as a second language, she blends traditional and innovative methods to develop linguistic skills and cultural appreciation.

Professor Eldiaby teaches courses including Introductory Arabic, Intermediate Arabic, and Introduction to Arabic Culture, emphasizing grammatical precision and cultural context.
