Alyssa Lancaster

Dr. Alyssa Lancaster is an Assistant Professor of Optometry at Illinois College of Optometry (ICO). She graduated from ICO in 2021 and completed her residency in Ocular Disease/Primary Care in 2022. Previously, she taught at New England College of Optometry and founded PRIDE ODs, a national organization for LGBTQIA+ optometrists.

Her research focuses on primary care/ocular disease, community health, and LGBTQIA+ eye care. She teaches Clinical Methods and Procedures II and clinical teaching at Illinois Eye Institute.
