Alyssa Gabrielle Schuck is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Biology at Yeshiva University's Katz School of Science and Health. She teaches microbiology and genetics, with research focusing on the in vitro toxicology of nutraceuticals.
Education:
- BA in Biology from Stern College for Women (Yeshiva University)
- MS in Microbiology from New York University
- PhD in Microbiology from New York University
Research Interests: Dr. Schuck investigates the prooxidant properties and cytotoxicity of nutraceuticals, particularly tea-derived polyphenols, using in vitro models to study oxidative stress and apoptosis.
