Alys Liang is an Assistant Professor in Operations Management at the Desautels Faculty of Management, McGill University. She holds a Ph.D. in Technology & Operations from the University of Michigan (2017-2024) and dual undergraduate degrees from Peking University: a B.S. in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics and a B.A. in Economics. Her research bridges retail analytics and sustainability, focusing on reducing emissions and landfill contributions in the fashion industry.
