Alvin Chang is a data journalist and Assistant Professor at the New School in the Journalism and Design program. He previously served as the head of visuals and data at Guardian US, leading a team of data journalists and visual editors. His career also spans roles at the Wall Street Journal, Vox, and other outlets.
