Dr. Althea Gibson is a Lecturer at the School of Law, Society & Criminology within UNSW Sydney's Faculty of Law & Justice. Her professional background includes roles as a prosecutor at the NSW Office of Director of Public Prosecutions, legal officer at the Australian Law Reform Commission, and senior researcher on high-profile inquiries such as the 2019 Family is Culture Independent Review and the 2023 NSW Co-Located Caseworker Program evaluation.
