Dr. Alp Limoncuoğlu is a Turkish academic specializing in Labor Law, Social Security Law, and Industrial Relations. Born in 1974 in Izmir, he graduated from Dokuz Eylül University's Faculty of Law in 1996, earned an MBA in International Business at Baruch College (CUNY), and completed his Ph.D. in Labor Economics and Industrial Relations in 2006. After a decade as a lawyer and a year as a military judge, he joined Izmir University of Economics as an Assistant Professor in 2008, serving as Director of the Graduate School of Social Sciences until 2010. His current research focuses on energy communities, flexicurity policies, and international social security coordination.
