Allison Runyan

Allison Runyan is a Lecturer of Art Education and Certification Officer at the College for Creative Studies (CCS) and an Adjunct Professor of Art Education at Madonna University. She holds a BFA in Fine Arts and Art Education from the College for Creative Studies (2015–2019).

Her research and teaching emphasize experimentation, personal choice, play, and failure as foundational to artistic and educational growth. Key interests include relationship-building, empathy-driven communication, differentiated instruction, student-centered learning methodologies, and 'edutainment' (educational entertainment). Her artistic practice explores multi-layered works using bright colors and patterns through material innovation.
