Allison Roberts is the Freytag Associate Professor of Economics and Faculty Athletics Representative at Flagler College's School of Business, within the Department of Accounting, Economics & Finance. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Northern Illinois University and a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Lake Forest College.
Her research focuses on econometrics, labor economics, and healthcare economics. Publications include analyses of healthcare access for low-income women, labor market impacts of family illness, and a textbook on quantitative business methods. Her work has received support from grants including the Illinois Department of Public Health Alzheimer's Disease Research Fund.
Roberts has received multiple institutional awards for teaching excellence and leadership. Beyond academia, she has 25 U.S. National and 4 World Handball Championship titles, and was inducted into the U.S. Handball Hall of Fame in 2014.
