Allison Pease serves as an Assistant Professor of Aquatic Ecology within the Department of Natural Resources Management at Texas Tech University, where she conducts research and teaches specialized courses in aquatic systems and fisheries conservation.
Her academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Wildlife & Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M University, a Master of Science in Biology from the University of New Mexico, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with specialization in Ecology, Evolution, and Behavior from the University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Pease's research program focuses on applied aquatic ecology, particularly examining stream fish communities and food web structures across Mesoamerica and the southwestern United States. Her expertise spans fish feeding ecology, environmental change impacts on freshwater ecosystems, and biomonitoring methodology development. She actively teaches courses in aquatic ecology and fisheries management while maintaining strong field research commitments.
