Allison Paolini serves as Assistant Professor of School Counseling and School Counseling Program Director at Arkansas State University's College of Education & Behavioral Science. With a Ph.D. in Counselor Education from the University of South Florida (2012) and a Master's in School Counseling from Long Island University-Brentwood (2005), she brings extensive expertise in educational psychology and counseling practices.

Dr. Paolini's research focuses on the transformative power of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) in educational settings. She investigates SEL's impact on reducing gun violence, enhancing college and career readiness, improving academic performance, and promoting student wellness. Her work also emphasizes evidence-based strategies for mitigating bullying and substance abuse among K-12 students.
As a National Certified Counselor (NCC) with credentials in New York, New Jersey, and Florida, she applies her practical experience from working in Title I schools to develop student-centered curricula that bridges theory and real-world application in school counseling education.
