Allison McNickle

Allison McNickle, MD, FACS is an Associate Professor at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, serving as the Acute Care Surgery Fellowship Program Director and Section Chief of Trauma Surgery. She is also Vice Chief of Trauma and Chair of the Critical Care Committee at University Medical Center.

• Education: Undergraduate at Johns Hopkins University, MS in Anatomy from Rush Graduate College, MD from Rush Medical College
• Certifications: Board-certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care (American Board of Surgery)

Dr. McNickle’s research focuses on trauma resuscitation and extremity injury management, complemented by active clinical practice and leadership in critical care coordination. She trains medical professionals in Advanced Trauma Life Support and Disaster Management Emergency Preparedness, while volunteering with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Search and Rescue Unit.
