Allison Grossman

Allison N. Grossman is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Tulane University. Her research focuses on international cooperation with fragile states in managing natural disasters, climate change, public health crises, and conflict, particularly in the Sahel and West Africa. She also investigates ethical frameworks and tools for field research in global contexts.

• Education: PhD and MA in Political Science from UC Berkeley; BA in Political Science and Human Rights Studies from Barnard College.

Her work addresses the interplay between foreign intervention and local governance, with a secondary emphasis on the ethics of experimental research in political science. She has contributed to journals including the Journal of Politics, Journal of Experimental Political Science, and PS: Political Science & Politics.
