Allison Gibson

Allison Gibson, Ph.D., M.S.W., is an Associate Professor in the School of Social Work at Saint Louis University. Her research focuses on aging and dementia care, particularly addressing disparities in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (ADRD) among rural populations. She holds leadership roles in organizations like the Gerontological Society of America (GSA) and the Alzheimer’s Clinical Trial Consortium (ACTC). Dr. Gibson’s work emphasizes caregiver interventions, telehealth solutions, and disaster preparedness for older adults.
