Allison Marie Frisch is an Assistant Professor of Journalism at Ithaca College’s Roy H. Park School of Communications, specializing in journalism innovation and sustainable funding models for community journalism. She previously taught as an adjunct professor at Rochester Institute of Technology’s Saunders School of Business and Harrisburg Community College’s marketing department.

Her research focuses on innovative revenue streams for journalism, partnerships between academia and local media to combat news deserts, and cinematic storytelling in video journalism while maintaining journalistic integrity.
