Allison Elizabeth Ashley-Koch is a Professor in Medicine, Biostatistics and Bioinformatics, and a Research Professor in Molecular Genetics and Microbiology at Duke University. She is affiliated with the Duke Molecular Physiology Institute, Duke Institute for Brain Sciences, and Duke Center for Statistical Genetics and Genomics.

Her research focuses on multi-omic technologies (genetics, epigenetics, metabolomics, proteomics) to dissect complex human traits, particularly neurological/psychiatric conditions like neural tube defects, post-traumatic stress disorder, and modifiers of sickle cell disease. She leads studies on genomic architecture of functional brain networks, omics predictors of disease severity, and suicide genetics via the Psychiatric Genomics Consortium.
Recent publications highlight collaborations with institutions like the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill, National Institute of Mental Health, and Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
