Her research examines how legal frameworks governing family and household economies produce systemic inequalities related to gender, race, and class. Key projects include analyses of high-wealth exceptionalism, family trusts as mechanisms for safeguarding cultural capital, and marriage's role in economic privilege. A current project investigates parallels between the legal governance of high-wealth families and families in poverty, highlighting colonialist formations in modern economic systems.
Recent publications focus on the evolving doctrines of cy pres and deviation in charitable trusts, advocating for a broader understanding of the 'charitable gift economy' that incorporates donor benefits beyond tax incentives, such as status and social identity.
Scientific Awards:
- Gender Equity Postdoctoral Fellow, Yale Women Faculty Forum
Her work has been featured on PrawfsBlawg and other legal scholarship platforms, emphasizing doctrinal reform and theoretical innovation in trusts and estates law.
