Melissa Dougherty is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and currently serves as Senior Counsel at PNC Bank, specializing in fiduciary law. She previously co-chaired the Trusts, Estates and Wealth Preservation Group at Dentons Cohen & Grigsby, focusing on high-net-worth estate planning, tax matters, and trust administration. Her expertise spans U.S. and international wealth preservation strategies, fiduciary duties, and tax compliance.
Education: JD and BA from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a Fellow of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and was recognized on the Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Rising Stars list (2016-2020, 2022-2023).
