Allen Gallagher is a Research Fellow and Co-Director of the Tobacco Control Research Group (TCRG) at the University of Bath, specializing in the Department for Health. Holding a PhD in Health from Bath, his work focuses on the illicit tobacco trade, tobacco industry influence, and public health policy across the UK, EU, Africa, and the Middle East.

- Illicit tobacco trade mechanisms
- Tobacco industry policy manipulation
- Taxation and supply chain vulnerabilities
- Cross-country comparative studies (Malaysia, Ghana)
- Broad tobacco control policy frameworks
Teaching & Collaboration:
- Lecturer at University of Bath, University of West of Scotland, Imperial College London, and University of Toronto
- Active in the STOP 2 research project (2023–2026)
