Alison Stigora

Alison Stigora is an Associate Professor of Art at Seattle Pacific University, specializing in large-scale sculptures, installations, and site-specific public artworks. Her practice bridges sculpture and architecture, focusing on human-environment relationships through natural materials like wood and rusted steel. She integrates location-specific research into her projects, creating contemplative spaces for viewers.

Education: BFA from the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (2007).

Notable Works:

• "FLUX" (2022): A 20-meter blackened acacia wood sculpture at Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire, France.
• "SALVAGE" (2022): A 54-foot installation in Seattle using driftwood, LEDs, and sound.
