Professor Alison Ribeiro de Menezes is a leading Hispanist at the University of Warwick's Faculty of Arts, Department of Hispanic Studies. She previously served as Head of Department (2012-15), Head of School (2016-19), and currently holds the position of Deputy Chair (Research) for 2024-27. With academic roots in St Anne's College Oxford (DPhil in Spanish) and University College Dublin (lecturer 1995-2012), she specializes in cultural memory across Hispanic and Lusophone worlds.
