Alison Hoens

Alison Hoens is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and a Research Associate funded by multiple institutes including Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute and the Physiotherapy Association of British Columbia. She also serves as a Knowledge Broker, facilitating interdisciplinary research collaborations and securing over $17 million in funding. Her roles include supporting evidence-based practice for over 130 clinicians across healthcare settings.

Education: B.Sc. in Physical Therapy from UBC; M.Sc. and DipSportsPT from Curtin University (Australia). Specialized training in knowledge translation and behavior change.
