Professor Alison Gault is a Full Professor at the Belfast School of Art, Ulster University. She specializes in textile design and sustainable fibre research, with a focus on knitting technology and healthcare-related design applications. As Placement and Employability Coordinator, she bridges academic training with industry needs, while her research explores natural fibre composites and circular economy models.

She actively collaborates with European institutions and has presented at EFYE, ELSE, IFKT, and Autex conferences.
