Dr. Alison Coutts is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing (Bioscience) at City, University of London, where she specializes in teaching biology and serves as programme module leader for non-medical prescribing. She is affiliated with the School of Health Sciences, Division of Nursing, and has held various administrative roles including Programme Director for Advanced Practice in Health and Social Care across multiple specializations.
Dr. Coutts has an extensive educational background, having earned her PhD from City, University of London in April 2021, an MSc from University College London, a BSc in Nursing Studies from London South Bank University, and a PGCEA from the University of Surrey. Her nurse training began as an undergraduate at St. Thomas Hospital in London, followed by work at Lewisham Hospitals before training as a nurse teacher at Guys School of Nursing and later at St. Bartholomew School of Nursing.
