Alison Axisa Eriksen

Alison Axisa Eriksen is a Research Fellow at the Department of Health and Nursing Sciences, University of Agder. She is a registered nurse with a Master’s degree in Health Promotion and clinical experience from surgical wards and orthopedic clinics at Vestfold Hospital. Currently, she works as a Business Coordinator for children as next-of-kin and continues consultancy at Vestfold Hospital while pursuing her PhD studies since 2021.

Research Interests: Alison focuses on analyzing negative patient and family experiences in healthcare through formal complaints. Her work explores healthcare quality improvement, patient-centered care, and digital patient education methods. She contributes to understanding systemic issues in primary and acute care settings through qualitative metasyntheses and thematic analyses.
