Alina Mielnik

Alina Mielnik is an academic and professional in Graphic Arts, affiliated with the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk as an Assistant Professor in the Illustration Studio. Since 2016, she has engaged in national and international exhibitions, educational projects, workshops, and conferences.

• Studied Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk (2016–2019, bachelor's; 2019–2021, master's)
• Completed master's studies at Sabanci University in Istanbul through the Socrates Erasmus program
• Supervised by Dr. Łukasz Butowski, Dr. Agata Królak, Vasyl Savchenko, and Professor Janusz Akermann

Her research and practice focus on Graphic Design, Illustration, and interdisciplinary applications of Digital Techniques, Animation, and Calligraphy. She has collaborated with institutions like the Institute of Urban Culture in Gdańsk and art&chips studio.

Scientific Awards:

• Rector's Scholarship (multiple times)
• Minister of Culture and National Heritage Scholarship (2020)

Mielnik has conducted workshops for children and adults and exhibited her work nationally, including solo exhibitions at the Municipal Public Library in Opole (2019, 2021). She currently works as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer at Into the Unknown Studio.
