Alicja Bonk

Alicja Bonk is a Professor at the University of Gdańsk's School of Earth Sciences, Department of Geology, specializing in paleofire reconstructions and environmental change in northeastern Poland. Her research focuses on analyzing sedimentary charcoal from varved lake sediments to understand historical fire regimes and their relationship with climate change and human activity over the past two millennia.
